Nail Marbling {No Water}

This is a fun summer nail look that I am wearing for 4th of July!

{The Polish}
White Base Coat: Sally Hansen Sheer Romance in the shade Naturel White
Pearl: Sinful Colors in the shade Tokyo Pearl
Blue: Sinful Colors in the shade Why Not
Red: Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in the shade Cherry Red
Top Coat: Sally Hansen Crystal Strength in the shade Flawless

{The Process}
This nail art was done by a marbling technique--but without the usual water used in marbling methods.
1. Apply a base coat of white polish.
2. Pick a few colors and drop a couple of dots of each to one of your nails.
3. Lay a plastic sandwich bag on top of the nail, pressing the polish dots into one another. This should create a marbled effect.
4. Finish with a top coat, and clean up the edges with nail polish remover and a cotton swab.

I learned how to do this nail art from the amazing tutorial by MissJenFABULOUS. See it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlyWfeVx2Z0

  1. I am definitely trying this because the water marbling never seemed to work for me!

    1. Same here--water marbling is so tricky, and this is a lot simpler!

    1. Thank you--I intended them to be red, white, and blue for 4th of July, but it ended up looking more like pink and aqua, which I don't really mind :)
